Effective July 1, 2025, Section 8 of House Bill (HB) 7031 amends Section 194.013, Florida Statutes, and applies to the 2025 property tax roll. This amendment allows a Value Adjustment Board (VAB) to potentially increase the filing fee from $15 to $50 per parcel. Each VAB will determine whether to raise its filing fee and, if so, by how much—up to the new $50 maximum.
