Overview
Michael Zilber represents a variety of clients including landlords, borrowers, tenants, developers, institutional lenders, and individual investors on complex commercial real estate and finance transactions.
During law school, Michael served as a judicial intern to the Honorable Adalberto Jordan for the United States Court of Appeals for the Eleventh Circuit and the Honorable Beth Bloom for the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida.
Areas of Concentration
- Acquisitions and Dispositions – Counsels buyers and sellers on the purchase and sale of commercial properties
- Commercial Real Estate Financing – Advises borrowers, private lenders, and institutional banks on various financing transactions (acquisition, construction, bridge, mezzanine, and refinancing); Advises private lenders and institutional banks on loan workouts, defaults, and foreclosures, including negotiating and drafting forbearance agreements
- Real Estate Leasing – Assists landlords and tenants in negotiating and drafting commercial leases and in lease disputes.
