Stearns Weaver Miller Welcomes Medical Malpractice Defense Shareholder Jaime Alvarez

Coral Gables/Fort Lauderdale, FL – Stearns Weaver Miller is pleased to announce that Jaime Alvarez has joined the firm’s Medical Malpractice & Professional Liability Defense group.

Jaime Alvarez has over 15 years of litigation experience. He focuses his practice on medical malpractice defense for major Florida healthcare institutions and practitioners including doctors, nurses and other health care providers. He has experience litigating complex, multi-party medical malpractice actions across all phases of litigation, including presuit investigation, depositions, motion practice, mediation, and trial. Jaime also has experience with premises liability defense.

Prior to joining the firm, Jaime led the Miami Medical Malpractice Division of a large, nationally known personal injury law firm, where he managed the overall operation of the division including the investigation of new potential claims, implementation of internal policies, management and oversight of medical malpractice cases and litigation, and hiring and supervision of staff.
