TALLAHASSEE, FL — Stearns Weaver Miller announced that Shareholder Adrienne Love was selected as one of Florida Trend’s Legal Elite 2026 Notable Intellectual Property Attorneys. The honor recognizes practicing attorneys specializing in intellectual property law, including patents, trademarks, copyrights or trade secrets with at least 10 years of experience practicing law. The recipients must demonstrate measurable impact in intellectual property law through significant casework, transactions, portfolio development or policy contributions; mentor or sponsor fellow attorneys and promote professionalism and ethical practices within their workplace; and exhibit leadership in professional organizations and participate in civic or community initiatives, including pro bono work.

Adrienne achieved Board Certification by The Florida Bar in Intellectual Property Law in 2024. She leads the firm’s intellectual property group and devotes her practice to patent, copyright, and trademark matters, including litigation of intellectual property cases in federal courts throughout the United States. Adrienne has acted as lead counsel for multiple clients in trademark proceedings before the Trademark Trial and Appeal Board and currently serves as the attorney of record for over 390 registered and pending trademarks and more than 40 patents and applications. Within the past year, she has served as counsel in multiple federal court litigations spanning copyright, trademark, and patent infringement matters.

Adrienne also advises businesses on best practices for Artificial Intelligence (AI) including ownership of AI-generated work products, source code protection under copyright law, guidance on what can — and can’t — be owned, and employee and contractor IP assignment in an AI workflow. She regularly advises clients on technology-based contracts, such as software licensing, software as a service agreements, website terms and conditions and software vendor terms of use.

Adrienne was recently selected as a Master of the Bench in the newly formed Florida Intellectual Property American Inn of Court. She is also a member of the Tallahassee Women Lawyers Association.
