Felicia Kitzmiller Selected as Recipient of FAWL’s 2026 Leaders in the Law Award

Tallahassee, FL – April 21, 2026 – Stearns Weaver Miller announced that Shareholder Felicia Kitzmiller was selected as a recipient of the Florida Association for Women Lawyers (FAWL)’s 2026 Leaders in the Law Award. The recognition is intended to promote members who have made meaningful contributions in their communities through their legal service or volunteer activities and who have provided a positive role model for FAWL members. Recipients will be recognized at FAWL’s Awards & Installation Celebration on June 17, 2026.

Felicia has served in various roles on the Board of Directors for Tallahassee Women Lawyers (“TWL”) since 2018, including as current President. She previously served as President Elect, Secretary, Judicial Reception Director, Public Relations Director, and Meetings Coordinator. TWL is a voluntary bar association dedicated to promoting the status of women in the legal community and the community at large. The group aims to create, improve, and maintain supportive networks between members through mutual cooperation, respect, and good friendship.

In addition to TWL, Felicia is an active member of The Florida Bar Environmental & Land Use Law Section (“ELULS”). She has served on the Executive Council and as Co-Editor of The Reporter, the Section’s newsletter. She is also member of the Tallahassee Bar Association.

Felicia practices at the intersection of environmental, land use, and real estate law. She has particular experience addressing issues associated with mining and mineral extraction. Felicia has been recognized as a Rising Star in Florida Super Lawyers since 2022 and on the Ones to Watch list for The Best Lawyers in America since 2023.
