Overview

Mia Minguez helps clients pursue their policy goals through targeted legislative strategies. She provides support to the government affairs team by researching, analyzing, and monitoring legislation and government regulations to advise clients on potential impacts and opportunities.

Prior to joining the firm, Mia provided administrative support to the Executive Office of the Florida Governor, overseeing constituent correspondence, assisting the Citizens Services team, and facilitating effective communication between the office and the public. During her undergraduate and graduate studies, Mia gained experience at a lobbying firm aimed at helping clients navigate the federal funding process, in addition to advocating on behalf of victims while at the Office of the Miami-Dade State Attorney.

Notable Experience

  • Worked with legislators and clients during the 2025 legislative session on various bills that passed including expanding services to Florida’s hearing impaired and deaf community and the extension of various hurricane-related preemptions helping communities impacted by hurricanes to rebuild.
