Overview

Evan represents developers, home builders, property owners, lenders, and borrowers across a wide range of commercial real estate transactions. He has experience with projects ranging from office buildings, apartment buildings, hotels, industrial parks, retail shopping centers, and other commercial real estate.

In the Environmental arena, Evan routinely counsels utility, industrial, chemical manufacturing, and developer clients regarding compliance with federal and state environmental laws, including the remediation and redevelopment of large-scale contaminated properties. He also has extensive experience representing clients in the energy sector.

Prior to joining the Firm, Evan was an attorney in the Environment, Safety, and Incident Response group at a global law firm in Washington, D.C.

During law school, Evan supervised the Environmental Crimes Project and represented indigent clients as a student attorney with the Pediatric Advocacy Clinic. He also served as a law clerk for the U.S. Department of Energy Office of Intellectual Property and Technology Transfer and the Law and Policy Section of the U.S. Department of Justice’s Environment and Natural Resources Division.
