Manuel “Manny” Agosto-Matos serves as the Firm’s Director of Valuation Research, leading its in-house real estate analysis efforts. He has over 25 years of experience as a real estate and financial consultant with a wide-range of domestic and international experience as a VP/Manager/Principal in corporations, private consulting firms and financial institutions.
Manny provides the Firm with an in-house capability to conduct in-depth research and analysis to support tax assessment challenges. He provides unique insight on how to address and resolve an assortment of ad valorem taxation issues and has experience in conducting appraisal reviews and supporting values at the various levels in the appeals process from the informal review, settlement negotiations, Value Adjustment Board hearings, and through the court systems. He has worked with retail, hotels, multi-family, office, proposed and new developments, and special use properties.
He has performed consultancy assignments in the U.S., Europe, Latin America and the Caribbean, providing a unique understanding of critical economic, social culture and market conditions.
Prior to joining the Firm, Manny worked in the Miami-Dade County Office of the Property Appraiser as an Income Evaluation Specialist, and with commercial real estate firms, such as CBRE and Colliers International as Commercial Appraiser/Reviewer/Analyst. He simultaneously ran his own consulting business, focusing on commercial real estate and financial analysis (commercial/business financing) and asset management.
